What's the story?
Collaboration between breweries is a common business practice but is hardly the norm between a juice bar and brewery. "Freehouse wanted to use the zest of the organic grapefruits but didn't want to waste the rest of the fruit, so they reached out to us and we jumped at the chance to work with the juice," says Wendy Ezelle of The Juice Joint. "As members of Lowcountry Local First, it's always a great thing when two local businesses can work together, and whether you try the Folly's Pride or Juice Joint Grapefruit Agua Fresca, it's a great way to cool down this summer in Charleston."
Who's buying it?
Locals and tourist alike looking to cool off with a refreshing summer beverage with roots in the Lowcountry local pantry are ordering this refreshing "water."

The Grapefruit Agua Fresca will be featured at The Juice Joint, with locations on Folly Beach and James Island as well as the Charleston Farmers Market at Marion Square.
Meanwhile, Folly's Pride, the ale that launched the agua fresca, can be found at Chico Feo's and Jack of Cups on Folly Beach and other bars and restaurants where craft beers are part of the menu.
